it is raining buckets here today, but this weekend provided some mild, perfect-temperature fall days. mesa, josie, and their friend audra took advantage by setting up a lemonade stand across the street. their gimmick was "buy lemonade and watch kitty (mesa in an outgrown halloween costume) dance." between the outfits, great weather, living on a through street, and winning personalities, they were decidedly successful. nearly every person who passed by must have heard the admonition to always stop at kids' lemonade stands, because at times it looked like they were running a drive-through with all the business. i think next time they can buy their own supplies ;)
